There is a formal dress code at The Ritz Hotel where gentlemen are requested to wear a jacket and tie and jeans and trainers are not permitted. The Traditional Afternoon Tea offers an outstanding selection of the finest finger sandwiches with fillings such as cucumber; smoked salmon; ham or chicken as well as the most delicious pastries and the famous Ritz chocolate cake. Fresh homemade apple and raisin scones come with thick Cornish clotted cream and strawberry preserve. Add a glass of champagne to your tea for an extra touch of luxury. The resident pianist provides soothing and sophisticated background music to what is one of the most iconic experiences in London, famous the world over. Due to huge demand for Afternoon Tea at The Ritz you will be requested to provide your credit card details at the time of booking even though nothing will actually be charged to your card. In the event of cancellation or amendment to your booking the hotel must receive all changes no later than 48 hours prior to the reservation in order to avoid full charge for afternoon tea. For parties of 6 or more full payment is required one week in advance of the reservation.
