Situated right next to the beautiful Kensington Gardens in London is the five star Milestone Hotel, a fabulous establishment and home to the rather excellent Milestone Hotel Afternoon Tea. This stunning 19th century listed building sits right opposite Kensington Palace and is five star all the way. Afternoon Tea is held in the hotel’s Park Lounge, a magnificent setting which boasts the most breath taking views over Princess Diana’s former home. Huge ornate fireplaces and wood panelled walls set the scene for a traditional afternoon tea of the highest quality. Tea is served in brilliantly shining tea silver teapots into delicate bone china cups and elegant three tiered stands hold a mouth watering array of fine cakes, pastries, neat little sandwiches and the most delicious homemade warm scones. Thick and creamy Devonshire clotted cream and the sweetest strawberry preserve accompanies such delights. Tradition is everything at The Milestone Hotel where you’ll be treated like royalty as soon as you step through the doors.
