The sweet option features first class freshly baked mini scones served with strawberry preserve and clotted cream as well as chocolate and raspebrry brownie, homemade carrot cake, Battenberg cake and apple trifle. As for the savoury, indulge in quail Scotch eggs with caper mayonnaise and Welsh rarebit with tomato. Also included is a range of delicate finger sandwiches with fillings such as smoked salmon and horseradish, duck egg mayonnaise and cucumber and roast chicken and mustard mayonnaise. Everything is accompanied by a choice of some of the world’s finest teas and for a spot of luxury, why not add a glass of champange too. The One Aldwych Afternoon Tea is now available 7 days a week.
