Afternoon Tea is held in Bistro 190, a stylish space complete with stunning pieces of art and comfy Chesterfield sofas and features a good choice of finger sandwiches with fillings like egg mayonnaise and cress, mouth watering cakes and freshly baked raisin and apple scones with clotted cream and strawberry preserve. If you fancy something completely different then why not try the Gore Rock n Roll Afternoon Tea in the hotel’s Bar 190, the setting for the 1968 Beatles film “Beggars Banquet”, which features Jack Daniels muffins, music shaped cookies and Jack Daniels and coke instead of tea.
