Afternoon Tea at Prism takes place in the outstanding Harvey Nicol’s Prism restaurant housed in the stunning former Bank of New York building in the City of London. One of London’s most famous and prestigious department stores has stretched its arms beyond the confines of Knightsbridge and has opened a fabulous restaurant in the heart of the Square Mile. The perfect setting for a traditional afternoon tea, the setting boasts all the glamour and opulence of the 1920’s with soaring ceilings and tall columns. The location is perfect, being close to many major sights such as St Paul’s Cathedral or The Bank of England, making it a top spot to pop in for an authentic British afternoon tea. As well as the traditional afternoon tea which includes warm scones, clotted cream and preserve followed by finger sandwiches and cakes such as Victoria sponge or profiteroles, Prism also offers a Gentleman’s Afternoon Tea menu, a more masculine version which includes a warm salt beef baguette, homemade scotch egg and rhubarb crumble tart with Chantilly cream.
